AKL for New Year

We are staying at AKL 12/28 to 1/1 in a Savanah room. We are staying at WDW until 1/17 but can only afford a Savanah room for the first 4 nights. Should we book a standard room for the rest of the vacation or swop resorts? We don't usually like changing resorts, but thought maybe this time we should. Pleassse help!

Hi Maria-

Here's a suggestion.... The time of year that you are going is exceptionally expensive. What about a standard room for that time, and then switch when the rates drop (drastically) to a savannah room? I can see that you might want the Savannah room for New Year's, but you may be able to get more for your money swapping reservations.
