want to know how many people would buy if no savannah views

What we be the point of owning there if there was no Savannah view? Needless to say, you know what I voted. I've stayed there in a Standard View & Pool View room. We had a great time there, but if I were going to own points there, I would definitely expect a view of the animals, they're the star of the show.

I'm like a broken record, I want a great pool (and animals)! IMO the AKL does not have a pool worthy of the resort.

I would only buy points there if there are savannah view villas and they are a "guaranteed" booking category. I would want to have the home resort booking advantage to reserve a savannah view.

If VAKL did not have any savannah views, or they have them but not as a guaranteed booking category, I would still stay there once in a while but wouldn't see any reason to buy points there since there would be no major home resort advantage.

I would need to see:
- Savannah view room type
- another pool
- another table service restaurant if the DVC section has any magnitude (Jiko is expensive and Boma is packed all the time and you are distant from any other choices)

I won't stay at AKL without a savannah view so I certainly wouldn't buy DVC without savannah view.

Our next buy will most likely be AKLV. We are animal lovers and when DVC moves into AKL we will be there waiting.

I enjoyed the savannah view and feel there should be a view for those who want it...I, myself, would like it no matter because I found myself walking around the resort for other areas of the savannah and even spent lots of time on the varrandah just rocking and watching the animals... I would like a savannah view now and then but probably would be just as happy if I were to get a pool view or standard view. I think the entire resort is just beautiful.

By the way, DisZip, I clicked on that beach club thingy and looked at some of the views... Can I also get views of other DVC's from that site??? How??? I tried to look around and couldn't find it... Thanks.

We both love this resort and would love to buy there even with out the animal view you can walk over and get a great view very easily. Besides the resturants there are some of the best anywhere!

My most favorite place of all-don't care about view. Love the atmosphere!
