Just returned from a Savannah view room and loved it!

Considering 2 nights of club/concierge next year with points.

Are there savannah view in any of these rooms?

Can someone give me a run down of what perks these rooms include? snacks/drinks/food - what time of day are these available?

Thanks!

There are only five 2-bedroom lock-offs that make up the DVC portion of Conciege Level at AKV which are all on the 6th floor of Jambo House. Three of those overlook an alcove of the Sunset Savanna while the other two overlook the Uzima Pool. Due to the limited number of rooms in the DVC concierge category, view requests are not accepted.

Does that mean there are not studios available? I'm a little confused.
by 2br they mean 1 br plus a studio. the 2brs are lock offs. i think there are 5 1brs and 5 studios so 5 2br lockoffs. those are on the 6th floor all DVC but you can book a cash room and from my experience, most of the cl rooms are savanna view on the 4th floor. no studios though

It means that it's not likely that a studio will be available. AKV club level may be the most difficult-to-book room category in all of DVC. Owners are on the phone or the web site the minute the 11-month booking window opens for their dates, and they're still often unable to get it.

I stayed in one of the CL savanna view studios a couple of years ago and in a CL savanna view 1BR this past April. The views are partially blocked by the overhanging roof, which is probably why they were given to DVC. No cash-paying CL guest would be satisfied with them. They are very difficult for members to book.

The savanna view from the three studios on that side (one of which I think is a handicap accessible room) really don’t have a great view - certainly worse than what you would have enjoyed this year. If you book one you definitely do so for the club level facilities, not the ability to see the animals from your room.

To answer your other questions I’d have a look at this thread - there’s loads of good information in it: https://www.disboards.com/threads/disneys-club-level-cl-information-and-questions.3414590/

A 2-bedroom lock-off is made up of a studio and a 1-bedroom with an interior connecting door. It can be reserved separately as a studio and a 1-bedroom or as a 2-bedroom.

If reserved as a 2-bedroom, the studio becomes the 2nd bedroom. Both the studio and the 1-bedroom portion of a lock-off have entrances, so not the best choice of room category if only young children will be in the 2nd bedroom. A lock-off also has a full kitchen (1-bedroom side) and a kitchenette (studio side).

If you want to book this by renting points, it won't happen. It's hard enough for owners there to book the concierge villas and many of them "walk" their reservation. That means they start booking weeks before their actual start time and keep adding another night and dropping a night at the beginning of their reservation. It takes a lot of time to keep doing this for weeks. Most renters won't even try to do this.
