akl deluxe to concierge ?

anyone ever book a deluxe at AKL and get upgraded to conccierge? Just dreaming...
we'll be there in early Oct....

I knew that some resorts will upgrade you but I didn't know that there was the possibility of getting upgraded to Consierge. Is this ever a possibility???

We have been to WDW 6 times and have never been upgraded although I have heard that AKL is probably the best place if it is going to happen.

Stayed in a concierge level room in Dec. 2001. When we returned in Dec. 2002, I reserved a standard savanna room. At check in, I asked for an upgrade. They upgraded to a deluxe savanna room; but if we wanted a concierge room, we would have pay an additional $120 a day.

Refrigerator was in room without concierge. I booked standard Savannah View and was given an upgrade to Deluxe Savannah View, to add Concierge would have been an additional $120 which I really didn't think worth it for the brevity of our stay.
