AKL: Construction updates?

Any updates on how the construction is going?

Recent traveler updates?

We have reservations for a savannah room for first week in February. We requested the Arusha savannah and I'm trying to stay updated on the best savannahs with the least construction obstructions.

Any updates are appreciated-thanks!

Just returned on 11/1. Never heard a peep of construction during the 6 nights we were there. Could only tell something was up in the lobby because of the blackout drapes on the uppermost floors, but never any noise. I had been concerned about the construction, but it turned out not to be an issue for us at all. Was in room 2553. Great view.

We just returned 11/6 and have the same thing to report. No construction noises, nothing really seen. We were on the Arusha Savannah view side of the Zebra trail, floor 5. It was great Loved everything about it and cannot WAIT to go back again

Also doing the half and staying at AKL from 9-13 Jan. Its our first time there. The CM that took our ressie said there have been very little complaints about construction. Hoping for a great time.
