AKL concierge with celiac's/gluten sensitivity

Has anyone who has an adverse reaction to gluten (AKA celiac's) ever stayed concierge at the AKL. Is it worth it? Seeing as you need to eat the food provided in the lounge to get your money's worth, it seems like it might not be worth the extra cost. Let me know what your experience was. I am especially curious about the dessert/ treat options, because my celiac kiddo has a serious sweet tooth.

I cannot speak to AKL but CSR CL was good with our gluten sensitive family member last spring and had alternatives like chocolate muffins available on request. The club levels will work with allergies, sometimes when what is available doesn’t work they can put together an alternative for you that is not available to others. Unfortunately, there is no way to know what you will or won’t be offered until you are there. I would not hesitate to book as we’ve had good experiences with Disney club levels and allergies. (That said, the gluten free pastry type stuff like muffins are pre-packaged, not freshly baked. They did offer to warm/toast the items as applicable.)

I have a wheat allergy and stay multiple times a year at KC. The chefs are extremely helpful and will let you know the ingredients in the appetizers, and if your kiddo cannot eat them, then they will be offered a small meal that is allergy-friendly and is one of four options that they will present to you.

Dessert for your little one is generally going to be Mickey bars, and an allergy plate with GF cookies/ cupcakes.

I will say that I have never gone hungry there, but the food might get repetitive depending on how adventurous an eater your kiddo is and where in the food rotation you are coming in.
