AKL concierge: View too high up?

I read on another thread that some people think there is better viewing of the animals if you're on a lower floor. A few posters said they were booked for concierge and were concerned about the view.

I would like to hear opinions about the concierge higher up view compared to the standard lower floor view.

We were concierge, 5th floor...the view was fantastic...we loved it.

We were concierge on the 6th floor. We also loved it.

I've been on 4th floor and 5th floor. Both were great.

We were on the 5th floor in a "concierge room" overlooking the Arusha savanna on our Feb 2003 trip and we thought the view was great. We did not feel as if we were far away at all.
