Akl concierge rooms location?

Hi...we will be staying at Akl in June with concierge level in a 1 bedroom.. .where are the concierge room located? i just want to be near the elevators...any info would be great..I know when we booked...they said there is no room veiw that you book for concierge..just that...and the rooms could be any veiw.thanks..

The AKV Concierge villas are on the 6th floor along either side of the lobby. There are two 2BR lockoffs facing the pool and three 2BR lockoffs facing the Sunset Savanna so your 1BR will have one of those two views. The savanna view from the 6th floor isn't the greatest but it is very handy to be just steps away from the concierge lounge.

We had the concierge villa that is furthest from the elevator and it took all of a minute or so to walk to the elevator from our room.

ETA: That particular elevator is the one that is right next to the restaurants and the doors out to the pool area. It's also close to the main entrance.

thanks for the reply...so are you saying that all the concierge rooms are fairly close to the elevators...I dont' really care if I am pool or savanna veiw..I just want to be near the elevators..

Yes. The walk to the elevator will take you between 15 seconds and 1 minute depending upon whether you are in the closest room or the furthest room from the elevator. The furthest room is maybe 200-300 feet from the elevator.

We just got back and was in a 1 bdrm. It was room 6402 facing the pool. At first I thought I would mind the pool view vs. the savanah but it was great, I was 2 doors down from the lounge and the elevators.

I am really getting excited about our trip to AKV ...we haven't been to AKl in about 4 years..

Where can I find the map of AKL that shows the DVC rooms..I know there is one out there but can't seem to find it...
