Akl Concierge Pictures

Does anyone have any pictures (recent) of the AKL Concierge area since renovations? We are going there this Friday for 2 nights and would love to see what it looks like! Also, are there specific days of the week that the Sunrise Safari is on? We would love to do that too! I can't get anyone to call me back though..the number I have for booking the Sunrise Safari is 407-938-4755? Is this the right one? Thank you all!

I will be checking in on Saturday - I was told that the Sunrise Safari runs Sunday and Thursday. We will be on the Sunday one...

Oh my goodness, I can feel your pain about no contact with concierge/club at AKL. Your date is a heck of alot closer than mine but I'm still frustrated with no response. Our vacation is this summer 2008 but I can't get good contact either. I had to send 2 e-mails and finally got a response after a week and then I called and left a message on the phone because you can't seem to get an actual person, it has been well over a week now and I've heard nothing. It is quite frustrating. If service is this sketchy, it really concerns me. I'm not at all impressed. I can't even get the sunrise booked or ADR's because I can't get anyone to respond back. When you pay for a level of service like concierge/club, you would expect a higher standard of service. It seems like WE, the customer are doing all the initiating and that just isn't right. I know I've heard people talk of them being shorthanded in this dept. because of the DVC's, and other stuff, etc. but that doesn't help us out any. I hope you get an answer. I don't know how you are going to book a safari that soon. Those have to be booked usually well in advance. Goodluck though

We will be on Sunday's too! We are checking in on Friday and leaving on Sunday! Maybe we will see you..we will be the ones with two teenagers and a wild 3 year old....

I called the hotel directly and got one of the CM's that were working in the Concierge level...I told him when we were coming and he looked at Sunday's ressies for me for the Sunrise Safari and said there were still 5 spots available...! I let him know that I had been trying to contact the itinerary planning dept to no avail and he went ahead and booked the spots for me right then! No deposit! However, it was funny how a few hours later the itinerary dept called me and wanted the deposit for the spots I had booked ! Oh well, at least they finally called me back!!

We check in Sat and leave the following Sat. I will be there with 2 boys - the smallest will probably be calling every animal a DOG...lol
