AKL Concierge level ?

I have been going back and forth about doing this. In order for us to the sunrise safari. You need to be in a concierge level.

is it worth the extra cost? did you really take advantage of the lounge?

I have stayed AKL concierge a couple times and am doing so again next month. We certainly took advantage of the lounge when we are there, as well as the other services available to a concierge guest. That being said, if you are questioning whether it is worth the extra cost, simply to be able to do the sunrise safari, then it probably isn't.

For our family, I felt having the guaranteed savannah room view and being able to do the Sunrise Safari was reason enough to book CL. The breakfast offerings were standard, and it was convinient and sufficient for that meal. DH loved the Morocco beer they had available in the evenings and I thought the tea selection was great. I was not overly impressed with the lounge area or the service, but that wasn't an issue for us since we would take the food back to our rooms to enjoy on the balcony.

I loved staying CL at AKL. The staff in the lounge were so great. They remembered our names. GAve us tips on what to do. The safari was the highlight of our trip. I used the lounge alot. In the evening they had wonderful snacks and adult beverages. They had alot of things for the little one to eat. The sodas and milk alone probably made up the cost not to mention breakfast and wine and beer. Definately worth it to us!!!

We are staying the same time as you!!! We decided to do the safari on Thursday though since we get in on Saturday.
