AKL concierge called but I didn't know what to ask for?

AKLC is very accomodating. They can handle all of your PS's. You can make a room type request (bunk beds or not, whatever). If you want to celebrate something like a belated birthday they'll prepare a cake with balloons for your arrival. You can have "Pal Mickey's" waiting for the kids (or yourself) when you arrive. Have some fun and use your imagination.

Yes - ideas - Please! I'd love to know how to get my money's worth from YC Conc. I have already spoken with Lauren and she is very kind and effecient. I'm just not sure what I can (or can't) request.

The only special request I've made so far is to send a box with my DD's b-day gifts to Lauren prior to our arrival. Lauren will then see that the gifts are placed in the room - a few each day - through out our visit.

Any other ideas? I'm debating the Pal Micky in the room - or may just buy it at DD on the way in - we always stop there first anyways.

Finally - does the cost of Concierge level include free valet parking or will we have to still pay the $6 per day for that?

Did I miss out on not receiving a confirmation package? Is there a confirmation package?

I planned my AKL Concierge trip just 45 days out...A day and a half after I booked, Jack from AKLC called me and asked me the questions that, from what I've read, are on the mailed packet. I did not receive this packet b/c my info was gathered via phone.
I have been in contact several times by phone and probably 8-10 times via email and twice by fax. I have received EXCELLENT service from this itinerary planning staff. I'm 110% satisfied. We arrive tomorrow and I can't wait!
I have made room requests (of course these are not guaranteed), in order of preference, #1 being SAVANNA VIEW and #2 being Arusha Savanna view and #3 being bunk beds which I assume we will NOT get b/c we are a party of 4, not 5.
They are having a gifts delivered to the room while we're at dinner the first night: Disney Dollars for my dad (shopaholic), massage gift certificate for my mom and gift bag of Lion King DVD, Safari Mickey, AKL pin, etc. for DD. Also from in-room dining a chocolate easel with special AKL-logo chocolate on it! I'm very excited - my family will be thrilled!
They also got me CRT, added a Sunrise Safari on the Sunday b/c there was a long wait list...got me Cali Grille PS and tweaked my PS several times to get them just right. They are amazing! Only now do I realize what a massive perk their services are! Oh! And they also lined up my town car service to and from the airport Enjoy their services. They are truly wonderful!
