We'll be staying there for 4 nights soon. Has anyone ever requested a coffeemaker be sent to their room at AKL? I really enjoyed having one at CS and would like one at AKL.

I've asked this in the past and was told that I could get one. We're there Saturday so I hope that is true!

Are you taking mug, coffee, etc. then or do you think they will provide like CS?

I don't drink coffee but there was a coffeemaker in my AKL suite: click here for photo (it's sitting on top of the microwave). Hopefully, that will give you an idea of what the coffeemaker looks like at the AKL.

I would think you'd need to bring some coffee and filters and cups but I'm not sure!

We just got back Monday night from one week at AKL. When we arrived, I called and requested a coffeemaker. They asked me what kind of coffee I wanted, regular or decaf, and I said I had brought my own so I didn't need any. I don't know if there is a charge for the coffee or not, but I would guess there is.

It's a 4-cup coffeemaker and I had brought my 10-cup basket filters with me. The lady who delivered it asked me if I had filters, and I said I had the larger kind. She said I could fold it in half and use it. She didn't offer any filters. It wasn't a problem -- I just scrunched the filter down into the basket. I brought my own creamer and sugar, but we had also bought the refillable mugs, and my husband would go down to get hot water for tea and bring up creamer and sugar. As far as mugs go, we used the resort mugs. You can probably get coffee cups at Mara if you don't want the refillable mugs. The cashiers have the styrofoam kind next to them.
