My sister and I plan to do an adult trip next October or November. We would really like to do concierge so we can do one of the safaris. How soon should we book? What would be the best way to get a discount? Should we just do concierge for one night so we can do the safari, or is it really worth the extra money? Should we book on our own or should we use an agent? We are planning on spending one day just hanging around the resort so we can enjoy all it has to offer.

Thanks for all help!

Always wished sis and I had had some sister to sister time before we had children :goodvibes ...Oh well!

You may want to check to make sure you don't need to be concierge the day of the Safari. They don't have them every day. I just booked ours...they only have them Thursday and Sunday; don't know if that is a "this time of year" thing or this is the standard days they have them at :confused3

This will be our first WDW vacation so I decided to go concierge and w/a TA simply because I had (have :rotfl2: ) no clue!

I know more experienced DIS's will correct me, but I think you can book 180 days out; full payment required at 45 days out.

I always encourage clients to book as soon as you know the date. This way, you have the room you want reserved. You or a TA can always get a code applied later if applicable to lower the rate. Also, you can cancel or change if need be.

The choice of a TA is personal...do you want to do it all yourself or do you want someone to do it for you (ie code searching, dining ressie and more)

Happy travel
Sandy
