AKL, are all Concierge rooms Savannah view?

Does anyone know if all concierge rooms are savannah view?

Is there a chance of us booking concierge again and not getting a savannah view room?

no... they can be either savannah view or pool view and they can't guarentee either. That's the only thing that stinks. They will try their best to accomodate but they can't guarentee!!!

There are pool view and savannah view concierge rooms.

This is what I was told by the concierge staff when making my requests. I need non-smoking for severe asthma. They said I would have a savannah view because the 6th floor pool view concierge rooms are all smoking optional. She said there were no smoking optional savannah view rooms.

I'm sure others have been told different. This seems to be one of those ever changing answers Disney gives out.

But I was assured by Andrea, that savannah view rooms were non smoking and on the 5th floor. Pool views were smoking and on the 6th floor.

Any others?

Oh this is one of those questions with so many differernt answers...

I was told... if you have a medical condition for a non-smoking room - they will gurantee a non smoking savanna view on the 5th floor <b>OR</b> on the 6th floor - but the view is obstucted.

Other concierge rooms are smoking optional/pool view on the 6th floor...

I was also told that cigarettes are a danger to the animals because people absent mindedly throw the butts off the balcony and they litter the savanna and the animals chew them - therefore only non smoking rooms were on the savanna - but I find it hard to believe that there are no smoking rooms with savanna view.. can anyone clarify this?

We had a non-smoking savannah view 5th floor concierge. If all the savannah view rooms are non-smoking you couldn't tell when we were there. Lot's of people were walking in and out of their rooms smoking.

When we booked, I asked where the smoking vs non rooms were located. They told me to request a non-smoking room and smoke on the balcony.

We used a paper cup with water for an ashtray the first day. We had an ashtray on the balcony when we returned.

Our ashtray was emptied every day.

We are booked for AKL Concierge May 3 - 7th.
Since we request a smoking room - the only smoking room at the concerge level is 6th floor - pool view.

However, there are smoking Savannah view rooms on the 4th floor - as we had one over looking Zebra Trail last May. They are located at the very far end of the wings. Our particular room overlooked the watering hole and I considered one of the best views.

This is truly the most Awesome Hotel!!!!!
