AKL activities but staying at CBR

We'll be staying at CBR January 2018 for a non-parks vacation. I see that AKL has a full schedule of free activities for kids. Are they open to any WDW resort guests or only AKL guests? A couple of them take place on the pool deck, and while I wouldn't use the pool or take up chairs, is it acceptable to do the poolside activities? My kids would love the animal info and games but I don't want to get into an uncomfortable situation. What do you think?

Many children’s activities are open to all, but not the pool games. And if activities get too crowded, I’ve seen them turn away non resort guests. I’ve seen non guests turned away from the night viewing..

CBR has a full schedule of pool deck activities, FWIW. Those will be open to you. The AKL poolside activities are for AKL/AKV only. Other activities are more open.
