If you buy a AKL contract this year, is it a 50 year contract?

It's actually less than 50 years. The expiration date is January 31, 2057 and the resort has not yet opened. The only resort where any members have the opportunity for 50 years of ownership is OKW which opened in October, 1991 and ends January 31, 2042. The other 2042 resorts had a decreasing number of years of ownership with BCV having the least (39+ years). Even SSR had less than 50 years since it opened in May, 2004 and ends January 31, 2054.
