AKL - 5 in a room?

Are there any rooms at AKL that can accomodate five people? (Three adults, a 4 yr old girl, and a 7 yr old boy?)

In the past we have put the Mom with the DD4 and the Dad with DS7 - and I (the Disney Freak Auntie) had the extra daybed at CR. We thought we would have two rooms this visit, and my DH would be with us, but it is starting to look like he won't be coming, so we're back to one room - are we back to CR too?

The deluxe rooms at AKL sleep 5 - either 2 queens and a daybed or a queen, bunk beds and daybed.

When I called recently asking about the room for 5 at AKL the CM said those rooms have one queen bed, bunk beds, and a daybed.

Legss22 - did you mean the Deluxe rooms too, or all rooms? In other words, will I have to pay a premium for the room, plus the charge for the additional adult? ouch. Guess I'll have to give them a call.

It would have been niceif the AKL Deluxe rooms had 2 queens and a daybed but that configuration wasn't made available. The deluxe rooms are all on the top floors and are a bit larger than the regular rooms and come with A king bed with a day bed or a queen, bunks and a day bed. There may even be some with 2 queens that only sleep 4. We had 4 adults and had the queen, bunks and daybed. It was quite comfortable and our view was spectacular. Unofrtunately these rooms are quite a bit more expensive, are not ever discounted and you do have to pay the extrra adult charge

They sound beautiful....but perhaps it would make more sense for us to stick with our original plan...Currently, our reservations are for Shades of Green - and we got moved over to the North Garden Wing of the Contemporary because of the delayed opening. I think that is where we will stay. If DH doesn't come with us, we could drop a room, and all fit into one over there, without too much of an increase in per room cost.
