AKL 3/4 July!!Can anyone help??

We are looking to spend 3 and 4th July in Animal Kingdom Lodge, hopefully with a Savannah view, as it is our daughters birthday! Which rooms and what floors can you recommend.

Can anyone suggest who to contact for the savanah view rooms, as we are based in the UK, so email or phone is the answer.

Also we will be visiting the various parks, but I am confused with all the ticket options, can anyone advsie.

Hi - I'd post this same e-mail on the "resorts" board. There are many people who have stayed at AKL and can give you lots of advice what room to request, etc.

I've heard any room on the 3rd through the 5th floor offer excellent views of the Savanas.

If you can go to www.disney.com, you can get international phone #.s and reservations.

We stayed there last Dec. Had a savannah view room on the Kudu trail--we were on the 4th floor. We saw animals day and night. Anytime we were in our room all we had to do was walk out on the balcony and we saw them. They place feeders kinda close to the resort to encourage the animals to come closer than they normally would. My only regret was we were so busy during Dis con I didnt get to take full advantage of staying there--there was a lot more I would have liked to have seen.
