I love sweet wines: Ice Wine at LeCellier and Rosa Regale at the Italian Pavilion. The Chadds (sp?) Ford Winery in PA has a great dessert wine. You'll have to try it.

Kathy

I found it!!! (Though not the other wine pairings).

The dessert wine we very much enjoyed at Jiko was:

Fairview La Beryl Blanc, '02

Hi Viki, I've been enjoying your trip report! Man you can really knock back a drink or two, eh? I admire that, I am legless after one.

AKL Concierge looked after you so well, what a great experience for you both.

I loved your pics of the sunset safari! It must have been very exciting to have the private viewing. We are looking forward to our stay in November, and this really helps!

LOVE your report so far! I'll have to keep an eye out for that zebra in January!

Is Mardi Gras something???

We actually have a videotape of her shennanigans which if I can figure out how to post (I see that Kimmar did it on her trip report) I will!

Wow, I can't wait to hear how it all ends. Sounds like a winner so far. Maggie

Hey, Maggie, great to see you!!!

Pull up a chair; I'll try to finish this up this week.

What a great trippie! We are leaving in 19 days . . . not that I'm counting . . . Your report has given me an idea to secretly buy DH a nice bottle of Scotch for the trip and surprise him. I have been so busy thinking about the kiddos . . . but that is something he would really enjoy. As a connosieur, what would you recommend?

Ooooh, so many great scotches, so little time.

My personal favorite is Glenmorangie - the twenty year varierty, but that can get a bit pricey. The lesser years are also very good.

Additionally, you can't go wrong with Oban.

How about others? Any recommendations?

Hi, Viki,

Great trip report! I too was wondering how you managed to get down to Boma's, also my favorite restaurant. Dontch love Victoria Falls. I loved the picture of your niece. She is beautiful.

I do have one gorgeous family, say?

You guys are wonderful! I love your attitude. Perspective is all and finding magic everywhere makes one's whole life magical. I am loving your report!

Awwwww, that is sooooo nice. But it's true, isn't it?

Frankly, I need a bit of perspective right this moment because the Eagles are "this" close to losing a game they've been winning for two hours!!! :confused3

Hey Viki! Nice report! Now why is that I look like a fat deer in headlights in that pic? I look downright terrified or very confused. Perhaps it has something to do with the stories you both were regaling us with about how the two of you met? Hmmmmm.....?

YOU look fat? YOU look fat? OMG!!! Vanity, thy name is ... pirate:

BTW, did DP get back home in time for school?

Concerning the pic with the Dolewhip.......

The Ice Cream portion seems to have melted quite quickly.

Was it the heat of the day?

Or perhaps something was added to the drink?

Hmmmmmm :rotfl2:

Very funny! You know darn well that the August heat and humidity was a wee bit oppressive that week and what a shock that was - it being the LAST week in AUGUST in FLORIDA!!!

Listen, is it my imagination or a few of you insinuating that I enjoy a drink or two :drinking1 :drinking1 now and then?

Wow Viki, that sucks :( My DGM passed in January, so I know how that is.

Rick, dont fret about that pic, all 3 of you look adorable :) Although now I want to hear the meet-up stories from Viki....LOL

Now I'm really mad I missed Rose and Crown...

We missed you!!!

Correction - The Eagles lost the frickin game they should have won!!! Agh!!! This makes for NOT a happy house right now and I have been forbidden from talking about Disney until the pain is forgotten by DBF :rotfl2:

BTW - Very much enjoying the report and hoping that by our 20th anniversary we will be able to upgrade from ASMu and free dining to all the luxury you guys enjoyed :goodvibes it sounds like an amazing trip

Arggggg - right back at you!!!!!!!!!!! pirate: pirate: pirate:

I love sports, but I take these things much better than DP. Right now she's teaching our 18-year-old daughter how to parallel park and really that's not a good thing in the moment!!!

What a fabulous trip report!
You taught me quite about about foods,
animals and alcohol and to top it off as a bonus,
my computer screen is very clean due to the
wonderful pictures!

My congratulations on y'all's anniversary
and condolences on the passing of
your DP's grandmother, she'll live on
in y'all's memories.

My partner and I are heading off to WDW in Dec with my mom, and of course the occasional friend (or 5) will be meeting up with us at varying times...I am so happy to know that WDW is still so "family" friendly!!! Thank you for such a fabulous trip report!

:goodvibes
