Hi
We are a party of 5 mostly spending all the time at the parks.. what would you have?
2 studios savanna view (can they be connected?)
Or a 2 bedroom standard view?
Thanks

No studios at AKV connect to each other and there is no guarantee that they will be near each other even if such request is made.

Not sure which building you want but be aware:

The 1BRs at both Jambo (other than value rooms) and Kidani sleep 5 (king in bedroom, pull out queen and twin size pull out chair in living room. the Kidani rooms are larger than Jambo and the 1BRs at Kidani have two separate bathrooms.

More than half the standard view rooms at Jambo actually have savanna view -- just not considered quite as good as regular savanna view rooms. If you reserve a Jambo 2BR standard and request room along Kudo Trail side of the building, decent chance of getting savanna view because all the standards along Kudo Trail have savanna view.

The Kidani 2BR is about 100 sq ft larger than the Jambo 2BR and has three bathrooms to Jambo's two, making it the 2BR favorite. The dedicated 2BR also has one long balcony that runs across both bedrooms and the living room, while the lock-off balconies all have a wall on the balcony between the studio and 1BR. About a quarter of the Kidani standard 2BRs have savanna view of the Pembe savanna and a request to make to possibly get one those is for a room near the Pumba elevator.

Does it matter to you that you get a full kitchen and washer/dryer in the 2 BR (also a 1 BR)? That may help you decide. And, would the 5 people prefer to have some totally separate space and be in separate accommodations? (I'm thinking not, if you asked about connecting rooms). There are many places to view animals at AKV, but it's also special to sit on the balcony and see them right there. Good luck deciding!

I would do the two studios, but I would not spend the extra points on a savanna view if you are planning on being in the parks most of the time.

Just remember if you have 2 studios, each unit MUST have an adult (18 or over) in the room.

FYI, 2 Savanna View studios are the same number of points as a 2 BR std view at Kidani. You gain a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and a 3rd full bath. Plus sleeping surfaces for 9. King, 2 queens, queen sofa and a twin chair.
