AKL 2 BR Villa, Value versus Standard?

What is the difference in the animal kingdom lodge's 2 BR villa value, versus standard room? Thank you.

We stayed in a 1BR value, and the main thing we noticed is that the master bedroom is much smaller. So small that the door scraped against the bed when we tried to close it. So small that there was no place to put our luggage. If you care more about the living/kitchen/dining area, and don't care about the size of the bedroom, then a value is a good deal for you.

Also, we had a savannah view, which was funny because we requested pool view. But we really enjoyed the savannah anyway.

value = size - smaller room with no sleeper chair (max occupancy = 8) - view can be savanna, pool or parking lot (no requests)

standard = view is pool or parking lot

The values two beds are also very limited in numbers 10 total all of which are lock offs, so anyone booking a 1 bedroom decreases that number.

No Kidani only has Standard and Savannah. The only reason they were made value at Jambo is that the room are 3 feet shorter so the rooms are smaller.

I'm booked now for a dedicated 2 bedroom at Kidani. I was told all the Values at Jambo house are lock-off 2 bedrooms. This means it is a studio and 1 bedroom with a connecting door. So you will end up with the living area, kitchen, master bedroom, 2 baths, and second bedroom with kitchenette. You will have a king bed in the master, queen pull out in living area , and the second bedroom will have a queen bed and queen pull out. A dedicated 2 bedroom has a king bed, 2 queen beds, queen pull out, and chair pull out.

Standard at Jambo is smaller with only 2 bathrooms view is pool or obstructed savanah. At kidani the 2 bedrooms have 3 bathroom and are larger but standard view could be pool or parking lot.
