AKL 1-Bedroom Suite Views

I read on another thread that some 1-bedroom suite views at AKL are lousy (no animals).

Has anyone had any experience with this? If you've stayed in one of these rooms, I'd love to know which rooms are good/which are bad.

We're spending too much money to stay here over Spring Break -- I'd hate to be looking at a maitenance shed or something. My DH will kill me since I talked him into the bigger room!

We stayed in one and the view was great and plenty of animals. Here are the photos. If the site does not work than it went over its bandwidth so try later. It is my old free site.

We also stayed in one and had no problems seeing tons of animals. We were third floor, can't remember the exact room number, sorry.

Just a word of warning - we booked a 1BR suite last June, and ended up in a 1st floor room overlooking a walkway just around the corner from the pool area. Absolutely no view of animals whatsoever!

When we told the bellhop not to bother unloading our bags, he didn't seem surprised & said that he couldn't figure out why Disney didn't price the non-savannah view suites different than those with superior views.

We ended up moving to a deluxe savannah view room, and the hotel refunded the price difference.
