I know that Akershus is a princess meal so it's geared toward girls. My husband and I were wanting a new Epcot experience and wanted to go here. We have a three year old little boy who really likes all characters including princesses. Would we be entirely out of place taking a little fella instead of a little girl? Just wondering! Thanks!

I think is very little you could do at Disney to be out of place. An elderly couple to go to a character meal and act like children. Whatever feels magical to you is certainly acceptable.
I have 3 boys and they like the princesses as well- I've really been wanting to do Cinderella's royal table with them adn I have contemplated Akerhus as well.

I say go for it! :)

He will Love It! I have been taking my Prince since he was 2yrs old and he loves it we go every year last year we went twice and we are going again in December for his 5th birthday we always go for breakfast, he loves the ladies and the ladies love him:laughing:. He gets all kinds of hugs and kisses.

We were just there with our son (7) and daughter (10). The princesses all made a big deal over him. He didn't have as much fun as he did at O'hana or Chef Mickey, but he was not out of place.

When my DS was young, we went to PSB & CRT, & he wasn't into princesses. Mama wanted to go, so we all went. :rolleyes1

We went when my DD was only 7 months old, DS was 3, he still had a blast, the princesses visited him and he loved it. Nobody looked at us funny or anything.

We took our DS2.5 back in May with his princess-crazed sister and he loved it just as much as she did (and ate from the cold buffet until his tummy bulged).

I'll also add that I enjoyed the food and entire experience far more than our dinner at CRT a few nights before. I found the food to be more appealing and the preparation better executed, the service to be quite strong, and the princess engagements to be as good, if not better, than at CRT. Even the picture came out better than it did at CRT.

Also, at the table next to ours was a family that consisted solely of two parents with a son who appeared to be 3-4 and they were celebrating his birthday. He was in heaven all night long.

Definitely go for it, for the food and for the experience. You will enjoy it and will certainly not be out of place!

We took our two boys when they were 6 and 8 and the pictures of them with the princesses is priceless. Go now before he revolts.

DD was always into princesses when she was small. DS had to go to both Princess meals but he loved it! He loved all the attention.

My ds was almost 5 when we took him (and his older sister) last year. He *LOVED* it. He absolutely loved it as much as his sister, and I'd almost argue that it was one of his favorite meals. We'll definitely do it again next year, along with CRT.
