Akershus- Will we make rope drop?

Is we do the character breakfast at Akershus, will we make it on time for rope drop? I want to make sure to be able to ride Soarin since it will be our very first time. If you have better suggestions for princess breakfasts, please share! Thanks!

If you don't make it to Rope Drop,you will still be able to get Soarin' FASTPASSES after Akershus.

There are openings for the 8:25 so it will probably be that one. I am about to book it. If I can get a fast pass after the restaurant, then that would work out perfectly.

Epcot will open at 9:00 so there would be no way to make Rope Drop with a 8:25 ADR.

If you finish your Breakfast and go straight to Soarin',you will have zero problems getting FASTPASSES to be used later that day.

Although the FASTPASS will have a one hour "window" in which to return,you can actually return ANYTIME that day AFTER the return "window" begins(but not a second before the "window" begins.

Also you can have one member of your Party take everyone's tickets and make the walk to Soarin' and get the FASTPASSES.

You wont have any problems getting FP's at that point, generally speaking, the crowds really start showing up closer to 10AM anyway.

Though if your wanting to ride it first and FP it later there will already be a line by the time your done with breakfast.

Last year we had an 8:05 Ressie and we were done by 8:35. Talk about a rushed meal!!! Of course, since we were in the first group to be seated everything was immediate with no waits. My kids loved the princesses but I don't have any little girls (my baby girl is 11) so the princesses just spent a minute or so at our table for pics (which was super ok with us).

We also didn't have seconds or stuff ourselves as we were headed straight to Test Track!

I do think Soarin lines build up pretty fast but depending on how quick you get in and out, maybe you could be done, ride it AND get fastpasses??? maybe...

Just make sure you show up a bit early for your ADR. If there are no shows you might get in quicker!

This year we have an 8:10 ressie and I am hoping we can get that prime spot on TT again! We were second in line!!! YAY!

We are always able to get an 8:05am ADR which gives us more than enough time to get to RD afterwards (we are usually done by 8:40/8:45am). Having a 8:25am ADR maybe pushing it a bit, depending on how much time you spend with each of the Princesses. I would definitely still book the 8:25 ADR only because walking through the park before it opens is really magical and also lets you get some really great pictures, just be aware that you may or may not make the RD.
