We are going to the banquet hall for the princess character dining. Is it worth going to see?:cool1:

Absolutely. But you will find the buffet line food to be much better than the regular dinner food. We made a second trip back to the buffet; hardly finished our meal.

Here is the highlight. I went with two friends about two years ago and they talked me into doing two character meals; 1900 Park Faire first and then this one.

We had our pic taken, in front of a fake backdrop, and it was very expensive at 1900 Park Faire.

When we got there, the lady commented we could get our picture taken. I politely said no thank you, and she insisted, saying it was part of our dining package. I was relieved. Imagine my surprise when we come around the corner and there is Belle in her ball gown.

I cried like a child; Beauty and the Beast is one of my top favorite movies.

The picture sits on my desk right next to my computer and I look at it every day.

You won't be disappointed; the character interaction was wonderful. We saw Cinderella, Snow White, Mary Poppins, Ariel, and Sleeping Beauty.

I agree that it is one of the better character meals. Are you going for breakfast, lunch or dinner? As the PP said, the appitizer buffet is pretty good. A good assortment of cheeses, deli meats and salads, it can be tough not to fill up on that alone. My girlfriend and I both enjoyed our lunch entrees last time, but agree with the PP that it is the weakest part of the whole meal experience. The desserts come out family style, which has 3 different desserts, on 1 plate, for the table to share. They are pretty yummy and a nice way to finish off the meal.

The photo package with Belle is included, there is an 8" x 10" picture and (2) 4" x 6" (I think) pictures. If you are paying OOP, I wouldn't call the pictures free since the cost of the meals is higher than most other character meals, but if you are using a TS credit it is a real good deal. My girlfriend and I (no kids) really enjoy the character interaction we get with the princesses. On our last trip Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel and Jasmin all came to the table along with the greating with Belle. :thumbsup2

We went for the princesses the first time. Now my daughter and I insist on going back for the potatoes they have at breakfast.
