Akershus question

Just got of the phone with 2 different CMs regarding my ADR for the storybook princess breakfast at Akershus. I currently have ressie for 15 and tried to add my sis and her bf. One CM said I need to speak directly to the restaurant and tried to transfer me to the switchboard but the call ended up in limbo. I called back immediately spoke to a different CM who said Akershus cannot accomodate a party of 17. Uh-oh!! I will have some unhappy family to deal with!!
Anyway, can anyone correlate her statement? I will have to break some bad news if this is truly the case. I upped the ressie to 16 people and will try to negotiate with my crazy SIL to see if she minds skipping the breakfast altogether.

Last year I made a reservation at WCC for a wedding party that was for 18 people. I had to speak directly with the restaurant manager to make the reservation. Maybe you should call the restaurant directly.

I will give that a try over lunch today. The first CM was trying to connect me with Akershus, but the second refused altogether. Thanks

Well, Akershus cannot accomodate a party larger than 16...however I did book a second ADR for the balance of our group for the same time. I know it is a buffet and people will be milling around so I can't imagine anyone would complain if my sisters wandered between tables. Oh well, I am somewhat disappointed, but that is why I made reservations 90 days out. If my sister hadn't procrastinated we may have been able to figure something else out, but there is no way I can rebook a party of 19 at another restaurant at this point. So the lesson is....when big sister says let me know if you are going to eat with us, answer her then....not a month and a half later.
