So I was just able to snag one for 8:25 on a 9 am opening. Will they let us in at 7:50? My mother is really looking forward to the Frozen ride, and she loves princesses, so I'm hoping to maybe get the ride in once with no wait and again right after with a 20-30 minute wait. Really did not expect to be able to get the ADR, just got lucky, so I haven't had any time to research this, lol. Any other advice besides getting to the park by 7:30? Thanks!

Let you in to Epcot early, yes. Let you in to Akershus at 7:50, no. With an 8:25 ADR, it will be tough to eat, meet the princesses, pay and get in line for Frozen prior to 9.

I have heard of people getting in with the 8am ADR when they have one for latter in the 8am hour.

pay for your meal at the start of your meal, I have heard people are able to do this. So it might work out for you.

I think riding FEA 2X with little wait is very unlikely I think they have been letting RD in a few minutes early you might just beat it 1 time but not 2X

They won't make you wait to be seated for your 8:25 ADR until all the 8:10, 8:15 etc times have been seated. Arrive at the gates early and be at the front of the pack. I bet you'll be seated right away. It's not like they're waiting for someone to vacate a table ahead of you.

That's what I was thinking but wasn't sure. Fingers crossed!

They're not going to make the 8:25 people wait to the side while they wait for the 8:10 people who could likely be running late anyway. For that first seating, they just want bodies in seats as efficiently as possible.

What are the times for that first seating? 8-8:30? We have an 8:30 ADR and wondering if there's any possibility of getting in on that first seating or if I should just keep trying to change it to an earlier time.

Not sure. I doubt they expect the first wave of people to be done by 8:30 though.

Not sure. Either 8 or 8:05.

Sorry I meant the range of times that are seated in that first seating. For example: If you have an 8:25 I'm assuming you're not waiting for someone who just sat at 8:00 to get up and leave to get that seat.

Yeah, I misread that and edited my post.

You will be able to get in to Epcot early, but I don't think that time line will allow you to get in line for FEA before the rope droppers get there. The GOOD news is that with an 8:25 seating you SHOULD be in the first round of diners (assuming the 1st seating is 8:05). Akershus is a little bit different than other restaurants in that they don't seem to constantly refresh and refill the tables. They tend to hold "seating times", for example a couple of weeks ago we had a 9:25 reservation. We arrived at about 8:45 to the park and made it up to the check in podium before 9 (used passholder entrance and was a 9 a.m. park opening) They were not even ready for us to check in yet, they were just getting the check in stand ready (but the restaurant was open for an hour already) We were the first to "check in" and moved to the front of the queue for Akershus, which was right next to the building queue for FEA. When you arrive, there is usually a queue you wait in after you check in for seating. We watched several families leaving and the line for the restaurant (AND FEA) were both rapidly growing. We were led into the restaurant, gosh I don't remember the exact time but I would say about 9:10? There were 3 or 4 families pulled out of the line ahead of us (we were a table of 6)....had our photo with Belle and were seated. There were LOTS AND LOTS of empty tables, and we waited quite a while with lots of other families....and the restaurant was filled within about 15 minutes or so. The situation was the same a year earlier when we had a similar seating time (but before FEA had opened). I think they must cycle through every hour, clean up, refresh, give the princesses a break, and get ready for the next round. We were in no hurry, so just tried to get there to get in before rope drop so that we could make our way up to the restaurant without the mad rush. Even though we arrived to the restaurant before 9, we could hear and see the rush of people arriving behind us.

We have eaten there several times, and I don't think we have EVER been in and out in under an hour. The idea of paying as soon as you arrive so you can jet is a good one, and I would definitely suggest doing that. If you are seated by 8:15, it is possible you could be out around 9 and have a short wait for FEA but I'll bet it will be tough to get off and ride again without waiting as you hoped. If there are little ones in your party who want to see the princesses this might be a challenge.....they do take their time and they have the Princess Parade which will happen AFTER everyone who is dining in that shift has been seated, so I would expect that would not happen before 8:30 . . .good luck! Hope you have a wonderful time :)

In case anyone else decides to look up this thread I wanted to report back our experience. We were first in line for bag check, 2nd in line at the tapstiles, and 1st in line to check in (reservation was for 8:25). They sat us immediately and we were able to eat, meet Aurora and then left. We were one of the first group in line for FEA at 8:45. Worth it for us, as she was the main princess we wanted to see (and Belle) because we could meet the others any time. If you wanted to meet all the princesses you would have to sacrifice your place in line. I think we got on the 3rd boat, and when we got out the line already wrapped around Akershus and down the walkway a good 30 feet. I can't remember the exact time but I want to say it was 9am ish.

We had an 8:05 am @BOG. We were first in line at the tapstiles, and we were seated immediately. Our server was lovely; she brought the check right away, and made sure we were out ASAP. When we left the breakfast, there were only a few people ahead of us for FEA, and the CMs were holding back
the mass of humanity that entered at RD. Much to our dismay we were informed that FEA was 'dead in the water', and it remained that way for the next three hours.
So....some days at Disney go beautifully, and some days are turned upside down. Always have a plan B.
Anyway, if I were so inclined to go to this breakfast again, I definitely would not be rushing out to get to FEA. If you are young, or just young at heart, I suggest you slow down
to enjoy this very special experience. Just watching the sweet faces of all the little girls who were so delighted to be in the presence the Disney princesses was priceless.
