Akershus PPO Breakfast

If you do an Akershus PPO for FEA... Be sure to ask your server to close out your tab early on). If you wait til you are done eating you will be competing with the rest of your servers tables to get your check processed. I had an 8:00a reservation yesterday but security held everyone up until about 8:05a and I finally arrived at our table about 8:20. Ate quickly, let daughter get two princess autographs and then we booked it to the FEA stand by line at 8:45. Probably 14/15th in line. Well worth it.

Good to know that this worked out for you, we have an 8:05 ADR for our trip. A couple questions for you if you don't mind. So you only had time to see 2 of the princesses before you had to get out of there? I'm not sure how my daughter will handle leaving without seeing them all. Although we will have CRT the day before so she may just have to deal with it. Did you happen to notice how long the wait was for A&E when you got off the ride? My plan had originally been to do Akershus, leave a little earlier than 9 to get in the line for A&E and have a FP for FEA. But it appears that the lines for the sisters haven't been so bad so maybe we'll try to ride FEA standby once, then do the M&G and then have a FP for the ride again later.

Ok, thanks so much for the info!! Good to know that the M&G line isn't crazy so there's no rush to get to that before 9.

Just walk from Epcot's bus loading area ("3" on the top map below) toward Epcot's front gates.
Go through security and enter the gate that has the "Character Breakfast" sign.
Walk under Spaceship Earth (the "big ball" - "A" on the top map below) and straight on past the "Fountain of Nations" in the center of Future World ("B" on the top map below) and keep going on over the entrance bridge to World Showcase.
To your left as you walk will be the side of WS where you'll find Mexico and Norway (Frozen.)

You may encounter a CM or two along the way who allow you to continue and steer you in the right direction.

We were also at the princess breakfast yesterday and saw all 4 princesses. We left just before the princess parade and had plenty of time to get in line. We were about 20 back and waited outside for 10 or 15 minutes before the crowd from rope drop arrived.

We have the same plan for Aug 2! But, and not to hijack, but to seek clarification:

1--I thought I read on here they would only let you go to the left at International Gateway for PPO, so Main Gate would be faster to Akershus. Yes?
2--I also thought I read on here that even if the park gates DO open at 8:45ish, they rope off the World Showcase until 9?

If anyone has any insight into those 2 things, I'd love to know.

Wondering how it went for you? I pick Fps tomorrow morning and still torn on FEA for DD or splitting our tier 1 between TT and Soarin for ODS (YDS will get us rider swap). I don't wan to rush breakfast as we picked Akershus for DD to get her princess fix, but I know she'd love FEA too. Hope your trip went well!

We just did this 10/19 and it was minutes before 8am. Maybe 7:50.
They had to get "park clearance" first and said that usually happened by 8am and not to worry about being late to Akershus as the restaurant knew what was happening. It was a little stressful for me and I felt bad for getting my family there by 7:40 for nothing. We did walk up to Akershus at 8:05 (our ADR time) so it all worked out.

We had an 8:05, arrived at the park at 7:45 and the line to get in for ADRs was long, took us until 8 to get through the gates. We made it to the podium at 8:09 and were seated right away. By 8:35 we were done eating and had paid but had only seen one princess. We decided that we'd rather see the princesses and just wait in the FEA line, so that's what we did. It was right around 9 when we left the restaurant and the rope drop crowd had beaten us there for the most part. The line was right up to the Akershus door. The CM said the line was 40-60 mins at that point but our wait ended up being 30. So not too bad. We liked the ride a lot so it was worth it to us.

I wonder if folks entering through the main gates are let in any earlier for Akershus PPO ADRs than those who enter through the IG.

i just did this on 10/18...they let us into the park a few minutes before 8..maybe around 755 after they got clearance...we walked to norway and were the second family seated. we left at around 850 and were able to walk right onto frozen no problem no wait.
