We went to the Princess dinner yesterday, September 16th and discovered they had changed the menu. It was awesome!
Of course we had to deal with the crowds at the door, but we were seated fairly quickly. They tried to seat our party of four adults and one child at a table for four (against the curve in the wall), but we insisted on being moved. My teens are well over six fee tall and it was leg tangles under the crowded table. We were moved and it was then I discovered the menu changes. The food could not have been better and there were five princesses there: Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmin, Ariel, and Bell. Talk about a great Princess to little girl ratio! My eight year old was in her glory!
Service could not have been better, the waiters were kind, funny and very accomodating.
The food menu includes: The Traditional Kjottkake, Mustard glazed Salmon, Venison Sirloin, Sauteed Chicken Breast, Classic Lamb stew, Poached Cod and Braised Pork Shank. Now, initially it did not thrill me, but we ordered the Traditional Kjottkake which was a Norweigan meatloaf kind of thing, very tender and tasted great. My husband had the pork shank and it was truly the best he had ever tasted. If I go again I will order that. Absolutely delicious. The appetizers remain the same, desserts include Majesty Cake, Rice Cream and Cappuccion Chocolate Cheescake.
It was a great meal. Ariel gave us a hard time when she saw shrimp on our plates which was hilarious, the princesses were very patient and sweet.
