Akershus menu change? Disappointed

since when did they change the Akershus menu? The one meal they had going for them was the steak and potatoes, I’m here now and it’s not on the menu. This is so disappointing, especially since I planned everything down to the meals we eat.

On top of that, the salad bar or appetizers is absolutely disgusting. If I weren’t with my daughter and if this weren’t a Disney restaurant, I would walk out.

uh, oh! Sorry the food was so disappointing. I hope your daughter at least had a great time with the princesses. I am glad we canceled our dinner in June. The steak was the only thing dd wanted. We're eating at Chefs instead.

Your picture of your daughter is beautiful. I don't remember there ever being steak at Akershus the 3 times we have eaten there. We got salmon, the Norwegian meatballs, and ravioli. I don't remember there ever being a steak option. We ate there last July, and very much enjoyed the Taste of Norway--herring, lox and smoked salmon with the traditional accompaniments, cheese, sliced meats, salad, fruit, rolls, etc. Went back for seconds as I recall. We are big salad eaters. Maybe that is not your thing, but I'm sure it can't really be "absolutely disgusting". I would describe it as delightful and delicious. Did you maybe have a bad day that is coloring your opinion?
I hope your daughter enjoyed the Princess parade and you got good pictures. It is so cute!

Do you mean that braised beef with the pickled mushrooms? I thought that one was just ok, but it’s the only beef I remember from their menu. I don’t recall a steak.

I never saw steak on their menu before either. And I think their cold buffet is amazing!
