Akershus Lunch or Dinner?

Which would you choose and why? Other than price and a few entree changes what is different between lunch and dinner?

We have a 5 year old little girl who loves her princesses.

I'm curious too. We have breakfast booked right now but I may have to make some changes and if so we'd be going later in the day.

First time we did lunch, 3rd time there we did breakfast. Can't put my finger on why I liked lunch better, but I just did.

If you had dinner here, what did you order. Is the entire meal served family stye or is some of it buffet?

Interested in this as well. We have dinner reservations, but I have been going back and forth between dinner and lunch. I assume that dinner (possibly lunch too) there is an appetizer buffet but the meal is TS - right?

We went for dinner and it was really good. I had the Oven-roasted Chicken Breast, which was yummy and my husband had the Red Wine-braised Beef. He really liked his meal and the roasted garlic and cheddar mashed potatoes that came on the side were amazing.

Yes, there's a buffet with appetizers to start and the meal is TS.

With lunch, your appetizers and dessert are family style and the entree is ordered?

I believe the desserts were served family style.

yes, that's correct!

Lunch IMHO was inedible. There was Norwegian meatballs; a Cornish hen and maybe a pasta dish and something else but it was terrible.

Breakfast on the other hand is actually quite good. Served all you care to enjoy plus a small buffet area with bagels and breads. The princess interaction is better than CRT IMHO and its only 1 TS if you are on the DDP.

but all that said I would stay away from lunch.
