No kids, just me & 20 year old daughter. It is not her request, she doesn't care where we eat. Or would it be better to go somewhere else altogether?

I must admit, the photo package included is part of the equation.
But then I think, we really don't need that, and have plenty of pics with us with characters, certainly don't need more.

So, if it's just for food & eating in the Norway castle, would you go for it?
If no pics included, no kids, no need for any of that?
Or just go somewhere else, & skip that?

we don't like the food but we go every trip (dd 5). We have tried all items between dh and I and haven't found anything we like. We do like the deli/cheese appitizer bar and that is what we make our dinner. We are doing lunch this trip. some like the food but we do not....that beeing said it is worth it for the princesses and dessert is good too. just our opinion though

We had dinner at Akershus in September. The food was good; I had the salmon and my daughter and son in law had the beef tips and said they were really good. CM's were great as was the interaction with the Princesses; the dinner was the highlight of the trip for my 3 year old grand daughter.

We finally atthere back in November and we were very happy with dinner.

The cold bar was very good and my salmon was exellent.

We also got a very good picture of Belle and DS. It was a fun experince and I think would still be enjoyable even without children.

If you like seafood and a wide variety of things, then it's worth it to go for the food, IMO. If you hate seafood and/or are picky eaters, then it's only worth it for the characters. We also went for dinner in September and the salmon was outstanding. There's a review in my signature.

which characters are at Lunch an Dinner?

The characters vary. We had dinner there in May and saw Belle, Snow White, Ariel, Aurora, and Cinderella.

We did not like the food at all and I am not a picky eater and I love seafood. We will be returning on our next trip as our DD is a princess fanatic. But we will be going for breakfast this time.

I actually liked my entree, but my two companions were less than thrilled with theirs.

Needless to say, they went back a second and third time to the cold buffet and had a field day. They loved it more than the entrees. We still got our money's worth.

We had our picture taken with Belle in her yellow ball gown - priceless. There is a beautiful archway and a lovely backdrop - and the pics are included, so it is hard to pass up!

Just went on our recent trip (about a week ago); we had Belle, Mulan, Ariel, Snow White, and Aurora.

This meal was just my mom and I; the guys had gone to Germany.

It was one of our favorite meals; I've read so-so reviews about the food, but our entrees were fantastic at dinner. She had the chicken, and I had the salmon. (It was the best salmon that I've ever had!!)

Our picture turned out very cute, too.

I'd definitely rec this one for dinner!

It was ok for a character meal, but if you're not there for characters, I wouldn't bother.

If you're choosing between lunch and dinner, I'd go with lunch. Dinner's kind of a big deal to me, and I'd be let down after the food there. It's not bad. It's just not anything go out of your way for. The draw is the princesses.

Wish it was possible to go just for the food and not have to pay for the photo package.

Would anyone choose Akershus over CRT? I am asking because if memory serves me right, it is only one TS and much easier to snag a ressie!
