Akershus for lunch or dinner and Ariel?

The food seems strange but I'm sure I can survive this for my girls. My oldest, 6 loves Ariel. Am I better off at lunch or dinner?

We saw Ariel at lunch in January and she was wonderful! We chose Akershus for DD4 and her almost 2yo brother stole the show! He left with lipstick-print kisses all over his face and would not let us wash them. Then when we saw Ariel again 2 days later in MK at the grotto, she remembered him and asked if they had a good time at lunch with her princess friends! Again he left with a big kiss and she is now his favorite princess. The food was really good- I was pleasantly surprised and the cold appetizer buffet has ham and turkey and cheese and bread, so if you relly needed to fill up on that, you could. Enjoy! We had a wonderful experience!

Saw her at lunch both in Sept/Oct and in Nov/Dec. I've also read of people seeing her a dinner. Never at breakfast though.

But I've also read of Belle in her yellow gown replacing Ariel at dinner sometimes. It's all subject to change but Ariel's usually there at lunch and dinner, not breakfast.

The only reason we booked the lunch was because I had read that Ariel was usually there at lunch and she is my 5 yr olds favorite princess. She was in the lobby for pictures.

I was pleasantly surprised by the lunch, I had booked mearly for the princesses. I really enjoyed the cold buffet.

Thank you all. It sounds like the food will be fine and my girls will have a great time! Everyone keep your fingers crossed for Ariel when we go in November. It looks like we will do lunch.

What was the ambience like? I'm considering eating there for lunch in May, but I haven't decided yet. Is the interior cool, or is the main draw the Princesses?
