Akershus credit card guarantee question

So I understand that if we're a no show at Akershus there's a $10/person penalty, but what if we show up but with less people than are on the reservation? I made a res for 10 ppl, but there's a chance my BIL and his girlfriend won't come. Am I on the hook for the $20 for them, or as long as we show up with some of our party we're okay (since we're shelling out still an enormous amount of $ for the 8 of us!)

They will charge you $10/person for each person who doesn't show up unless you cancel 48+ hours before.

Yup, sure will. We went once with a group of 7, and for whatever reason could not get a ressie for 7 people, but we could for 8 (on the advice of the CM making the ressie). We took it and paid the $10 for the "missing" person. Worth it though!

From personal experience I can tell you, you will be charged for that missing person. Sept '08 I woke up ill one morning, so sent everyone else on to Akershus thinking that as long as my party showed up we wouldn't be charged. After returning home, I went online to pay my VISA and found a $10.00 charge I couldn't figure out. When I called they were able to tell me immediately that one of my party didn't show up at Akershus on that day.
