You can order each entree seperately they are not served family style. My DS10 did not like anything on the menu so our server said he could have the pizza from the kids menu and would get a larger portion. It was the same size as DD6's pizza and they charged us full price!
Are you going for breakfast? If so, it is family style and very good. They bring everything out and you are welcome to request more of anything.
If you are going for lunch or dinner, there is a buffet of traditional Norwegian appetizers. The entree is ordered off the menu, and it is per person. The best analogy I can come up with is that it is rather like adding the salad bar to your entree at Ruby Tuesday's. We have some not-so-adventurous eaters in my family, so we've only gone for the breakfast.
I remember reading in my 2006 edition of Unofficial Guide that you can..but I was under the impression you have to order them one at a time, instead of all at once. The downer would be that it could take you forever to eat there, if you plan on having two or more entrees.
Okay, I just looked in my Unofficial Guide book (page 427), it says: "You may order more than one hot entree, but only one at a time."
