Akershus 10:40am ADR

Hi, I see that the WDW site lists breakfast served until 11:10 then lunch begins at 11:55. What happens between 11:10 and 11:55? We have a 10:40ADR and are hoping that breakfast won't be rushed because they are trying to get ready for lunch. Does anyone have any experience eating around this time? TIA!

I would think that it's so they can serve everyone for breakfast and clear the restaurant before lunch. That way the kitchen will only have to be preparing food for one menu at a time.

On our last trip, we had an ADR at 10:30. It looks like they have 'seatings', and this time frame may be the last seating for breakfast. We showed up for our reservation about 10:20-10:25, and probably did not get seated until about 10:35-10:40. We lined up outside the restaurant with other people with reservations around the same time. There was about 10-12 groups lined up before they started seating people. I was also concerned that we would be rushed, but that wasn't the case. We were served fresh, warm food and all the princesses came around as we hoped. So not to worry...no rush.
