Hi guys,

I have some questions about Akershaus breakfast. Has anyone been there lately? What kind of food do they have? The menu sites all seem to indicate it's fairly generic with nothing special. Any tips would be great, but the basic question is "Is it worth it?"

Thanks in advance.

I was there in July with my 4 year old dd. We had a nice time. The food is brought out on a platter-eggs, sausage, etc. It was pretty good!:thumbsup2 There is also a buffet for cold food-like danish, fruit, cheese. With the new pricing-my dd had her picture taken with Belle before we were seated and then they brought us the pictures before we left. It wasn't rushed-I felt it was worth it!

Just my oppinion....

If you put it up and compare it against the CRT breakfast, then I would definately say it is worth it.

It is nice to get to the park and already be there when it opens!

The characters are great and now it includes the photo.

The food is the generic Disney breakfast food, but no complaints.

As the others have said there is a cold buffet and the hot food is delivered on a platter to the table. It's all you can eat. I prefer it over CRT. The princess interaction is fab and that's why we're there!

Edited: Sorry, I meant to post a new thread and posted a reply by mistake

The food is generic ok and good but not Fabulous., but you are paying for the dining experience here, and the character expereince is definitely worth it.

We enjoyed breakfast - it was good. It's not the best breakfast I've ever had in my life - but it was very good. The main reason to go is for the princesses - if you are not interested in the character interaction, you might be disappointed. If you ARE looking for character interaction, then I highly recommend this breakfast. Wonderful princess time and a good breakfast!

Ditto! It's a generic breakfast, but we liked it. We had kids w/ us and you can't get too far off mainstream w/them w/ food. I would do it again!

We ate here for the first time in July. Found the food above average, the potatoe casserole was out of this world. The buffet contains many standards, but some surprising things too, flavored cream cheeses, and something I LOVED (surprisingly) thinly sliced salami, real salami, not what we Americans pass off as lunch meat. The food was fresh and plentiful, the princesses were great (even to us "oldies" celebrating an anniversary) and I was given apple juice instead of orange juice, something I usually have trouble finding. Our glasses were kept full, and we enjoyed watching all the little princesses around us.

Thanks for the advice
does anyone know if there are onions in the potatoe casserole? It looks good I have seen a picture tonight on a dinnig reviewWe are sor sure going to keep our ADR
