Akerhaus Photo Package included with buffet??

Hey all,

I remember hearing a couple of months ago that Disney was going to add a photo package to the Akerhaus Storybook dining, similar to what they have at CRT. Raising the price of the meal a lot.

When I looked on allears and wdwinfo there isn't any mention of it. Does anyone have any info or am I just mistaken about disney adding the photo package to the meal??

I think I heard it on the Dis Podcast and something on all ears

Any help would be helpful

NEW! It's been reported that beginning April 27, 2008, the photo package at Princess Storybook at Akershus in Norway at Epcot will be included in the cost of dining as it is with Cinderella's Royal Table.

I just posted about this last night because we went for breakfast Thursday morning and felt like we got a good deal. It was only 1 TS credit and the photo was included. I doubt if it will continue that way for long, but we were thrilled and had a great meal.

I hope it stays 1 TS credit, especially since I've already made my ADR for September. If they change it to 2 TS credits, do you think they would honour earlier reservations made on the assumption of 1 TS credit per diner?

I would think if it would change it will be for 2009.

I am super excited at the change... we were told they cant change the credit amount until 09

I was a little bummed when I went on April 15 this year. The picture was great but they were charging for the picture, an extra $20 so we passed. Oh well.

Glad to hear about the new change though....then I can look forward to when we go back in the fall!!!!

I made a reservation for June for 10 people and was told that the price included 2 photo sessions that would each include 4-4X6 and 1-6X8 if I wrote it down correctly.

That's correct. We went last week for breakfast and TWO photos were included...and that is two DIFFERENT photos...so you can do one shot with just the kids, one with the whole family, etc.

I have a feeling that if this meal continues including the two photo sessions and stays the same price, it will go to 2 credits in 2009. Just a hunch.
