AK with 7am EMH

I was wondering if at least the non Pandora rides would stay quiet. There's a 7am EMH on Saturday, but I can't keep an eye on wait times then to give me an idea as I'll be on a plane!
If it was just my own family I would be confident I'd get us all there for 7, but we're with friends too so I can't force them out of the door in the same way.
It is sounding like it might be warm enough for Kali in the morning, we're British so the weather sounds hot to me!

Hope you have a great trip too

Can you meet them there later?

For someone who has been at a recent 7 AM EMH at DAK, when did they let guests through the gates and when did the Pandora rides start operating? Were they letting people on the rides before 7? TIA.

Unfortunately not, there's no availability for any of them at other times. However I've just realised Safari doesn't open until 8, so maybe we could aim to go there after the first 3 rides, do the Gorilla Trail then head back to Kali around 9.
I was planning to do FOTLK another day when we are going in for the later afternoon/evening, but if we did Safari early we could do FOTLK before FoP.
I'm just hoping we're still jet lagged enough on Monday to be up early for a 7am opening! (we're British and arrive on Saturday!)

I thought Safari was open for EMH? We plan to RD Navi then head to safari but if it doesn't open until 8 on a 7am EMH day that changes things! Help!

I'll be there that day too and we planned on rope dropping the Safari. I also thought they were running for morning extra magic hours... clarification?

I think the Safari is usually open for AM EMH, but at this time of year it is still pretty dark at 7 AM and they don’t open the Safari until later. At least the last time we did it the Safari was operating when EMH started at 8 AM.

I wonder if there is any way to know ahead of time? Sunrise on March 5 is 645 AM. 7am EMH is on Feb 19 and Mar 2 also so maybe someone can report back?

We were there this week with a 7am EMH.... we were let in around 6.30 and we rode Na’vi twice and had photos ... looked at my watch and it was 6.55am :)

Now, do I fully BELIEVE this info?
It's on the WDW website, so I give it a 50-50 chance. ;)

Oh thanks for this, I actually never realized they posted actual attraction opening times...or maybe because I never trust them either, haha!

I did some investigation and it looks like it will only be open for EMH if it starts at 8. So KS never opens before 8. Looks like I need to adjust my touring plan for 3/5, although it would be nice to hear some live reports on what time it does open with a 7am EMH opening.

Consider that the "longest day of the year" (summer solstice) is in late June.
Dates around that time will (of course) see the earliest sunrise times (and warmer early-morning temperatures).
It is more likely around that time that they could open KS earlier.

Also keep in mind that when Daylight Savings Time kicks in the second weekend in March, the sunrises will jump ahead an hour, so sunrises in late March and early April will be later than in early March.

Sunrise in Orlando never gets much earlier than 6:30.

Thanks, that’s what I’m hoping for. Our plan is to be there at opening to ride Navi, go out to ride Everest and Dinosaur when they open at 7 and then come back to Pandora to use our newly issued 8 AM FPs for FOP. Then we’ll be ready for breakfast. Walking through DAK before the crowds arrive outside of Pandora is a good way to get some exercise to start the day.

I was at 7am and found out the hard way the Safari ride didn’t open until 8:00. However from 7:45 til 9:30 Everest was basically a 5-10 minute wait.

Thank you for clarifying. I'm actually there Easter week with a 7a.m. emh. I'm bummed about the Safari. I have a Fastpass for navi, we're not doing fop (saving it for our next trip when we can all do it), we don't do Everest or dinosaur, youngest is too little for the other smaller coaster (the name is escaping me), the trails weren't open at 7 last time we went either. I have a fastpass for kali, and who wants to be cold and wet at 7 a.m. anyway? What am I going to do? Rope drop Tough to be a Bug? Lol that seems ridiculous. I'll plan it so that we're at safari prior to it opening but still, it's kind of disappointing.

Hey, look on the bright side- you can sleep in!

I'm RDing NRJ, so I have to get there early even though that's my only plan- other than grabbing some food- until KS opens.

Safari wasn't open until 8 on Monday I don't think. And Everest was at 40 minutes by about 8 for us

I adjusted my touring plan so now we are going the opposite way after Navi. Dinosaur, Everest, Kali, KS. What time will waits start to exceed 20 minutes for Ks?

On Monday the queue said 25 min when we got to Safari and I think we queued 25-30, we got there about 8.25.

How quickly does the line at Navi build on a 7 am EMH day during peak time? We will be there around Easter. What you expect the wait to be at 7:30 or 7:45 am?

Did AK the last Saturday of Jan. We did navi first at rope drop during EMH. It was at 810am when we got to it. By the time we went through the ride it was a 35 minute wait. So I would suggest going straight to it. FOP was 90 minutes when we got on Navi. When we got off it was 2 hours. We had FP for it later so went over to Dinoland and was able to go directly on Dinosaur and primitive swirls with no wait.

After that we went to Everest which had a 15 minute wait.
