We have a 4 day pass and a3, 6, 9 and 11year old. We were thinking of doing one park each day but with the expansion of fantasyland I'm not sure we will get a lot of mk done in one. Would you do a second mk day or an ak day? We are def doing Epcot and hws. We will have park hopper so could do ask then mk...

Park hoppers will be great for you. Do a full day at MK, then go back to MK after you "finish" AK. There's a lot closed down at DHS, so you may be able to hop from there to MK, too.

We have a similar situation. We have 4 days in the parks and are choosing to skip AK this trip and do 2 full days at MK. Although, we do NOT have park hoppers and we only have 1 child who is 4. I think most of the bigger rides at AK will scare her.

I almost think you can split a day at HS and AK with your hoppers if you play your cards right. I would rope drop one and hop to the other who is open later.

Good Luck!

I'd do at least a half day at AK. We think it is a great park with something for all ages. The Safari and Everest (for the 11 year old) are must rides and AK has three of the best shows at all of Disney - Flights of Wonder (everyone will love), Lion King and Nemo. The two trails - Pangani and Maharaja - are great. Frankly, I'd take my family to AK before DHS but that's just us.

Our family avoided AK for years. We always figured that we could just go to the local zoo if we wanted to see animals.

Boy where we wrong. We went for the first time during our last trip, and we are kicking ourselves for missing it all of these years.

No there aren't as many rides. But we spent a full day there, and would have stayed longer if they had been open longer. It is on the agenda for our next trip.

I vote Animal Kingdom as a "not to be missed" parked.

Thanks! My kids like hws for toy story and fantastic and we like the lion king as well. Not sure we've seen flights if wonder but well add it to the list :-). Thx!
