I was planning an early entry AK day and had this idea....

Arrive BEFORE opening to be ready when rope drops

1st-Safari
2nd- ITTBAB
3rd-I grab fastpass for Kali River Rapids while...
4th-send wife/kids to Primevil Whirl/Dinoland
5th- All standby for Dinosaur
6th-Fastpass return for Kali?
7th-Festival of the Lion King(pending on showtimes)

Questions are....

What time will we be finished?
Is there a better strategy for that Monday AM?

These seem to be the only attractions my sons were interested in.

After AK, I am hoping to rest up for e-night that evening.

TIA-

Do you really want to sit through the Loin King soaking wet??? Hopefully your FP time will be for after the performance. I think it all looks well. I think you have a full morning ahead of you. I'd say if the crowds work in your favor then you will probably be done by lunch.

Thanks kilee!

You are right! Prolly better to hit the Lion King then end with Kali if the Fastpass works out that way.

I would LOVE to finish up around lunch time so we can head back to pool to relax for e-night!

your plan is the same one we use. our kids must be about the same age. we done that plan twice and were out of the park by noon. I also agree with kilee try to do kali last before your ready to go.

Cortegro - we'll be AK on July 16 also. I've heard that AK EMH aren't as crowded as say MK EMH. I hope that's right.

DisneyMomx7- Great! Look for three boys 12,10, & 9 probably still wearing their hockey jerseys! I am planning this as a surprise trip leaving from a hockey tournament in Providence! I don't know how I will sneak any "disney" clothes down for the "hockey" trip!

That sounds great. Its similar to what I have planned for Mon, the 19th,

-Safari
-Get to Dinoland for 9:00 opening
-DM & kids do Triceratops Spin
-DH & I do Dino
-9:45 Lion King(send DH to KRR for FP...hope the timing is right)
-10:45 Tarzan
-Boneyard
-Maharajah Jungle Trek
-Hopefully our FP time will be now and we can ride KRR before heading back to our resort for a break.

camcolt-

LMK how everything works out! Especially the Fastpass part.

Also, are the FOTLK times pretty etched in stone?

TIA-

I checked here for current showtimes.

Im going on the assumption they will be the same in 2 weeks. I will of course check before leaving to see if the new times for that week are posted and check the times guide upon arrival, but for now, thats what Im going with.
Ill be sure to post how it went, but Im guessing it will be too late to help you. ;)

Thanks again. If you do post before the 26th I'll be looking. We leave Providence at 4:45pm on the 25th.

Thanks and have a blast!

Oh sorry, Ill just miss you. We get into Logan at 6:16(hopefully) on the 25th.
Have a great trip! Hope our plans work. ;)

cortego - great minds must think alike. Ours is a surprise Disney trip for the kids too. We'll be at HRH July 15-18, then they think they're going home - SUPRISE - we'll be at POR July 18-26. I'm trying to pack all the disney stuff secretly. Luckily my inlaws are taking the kids for a few days right before I go so I can pack my "universal" and "disney" suitcases in peace. I can finally really sort all the "surprises" without panicking that one of them will be banging at the door. We'll be the family with two girls in a double stroller (5 and 6) and a boy in the single umbrella stroller (4) with the green ribbons hanging from them!
