Via disney transportation.. What is the fastest route from Animal Kingdom to Magic Kingdom. I assume getting a bus to a monorail resort but which one?

There are buses that run between Animal Kingdom and the TTC. You can catch a direct bus.

There is "direct" transportation between all the WDW theme parks.

Most routes are via Disney Buses.

Here are the "park-to-park" Disney Transportation direct connections:

MK/TTC> AK= Bus

The buses have their destinations shown on them on illuminated signs.
The bus stops at the parks are also marked with signage.

As a rule-of-thumb, allow 40-60 minutes to get from the gates of one park to the gates of another park.

I would recommend getting on the bus for the Contemporary/Polynesian/Grand Floridian. Since the Contemporary happens to be the 1st stop among those resorts you can get off there and use the walkway to the Magic Kingdom.

It's just Contemporary/Poly. A separate bus serves WL & GF.
