We will be driving to FW from AK. Could anyone tell me which entrance we drive to, please?

I know we will have to get a Bus to Hoop-Dee-Doo, but from where? Are these buses ECV Accessable?

Thanks for your help.

You park at the south side of the resort, where its administration and check-in building is. From AK you will head to MK, down World Drive through the main parking ticket booths. When you approach those booths, you need to get to the right hand side and then once through you need to be all the way over on the right and then take first right hand turn. Then drive about 1 1/2 miles to the Fort Wilderness entrance. At Fort Wilderness you will catch a bus (right near the parking lot) that goes through FW to the Pioneer Hall area of the resort which is at the north end of the resort. They are ECV compatible.

As you approach Ft Wilderness, you will see a sign for hoop dee doo parking. It's actually past the FW registration area parking. The busses are nearby. This is how it was in March, anyway.

When exiting the AK parking lot, you will exit onto the Osceola Parkway. Stay in your leftmost lane on the parkway. You will want to take the first LEFT exit... there will be signs for Magic Kingdom. Once you make that exit, you will now be on World Drive. Make sure you are in the 2nd from left lane. This will prevent you from going to Epcot. Finally, you wil reach the MK Toll Plaza. Find the right most open lane, and go through that one. Stay as far right as possible, and follow the signs for Fort Wilderness. Please be careful about merging with buses at this point. If you try and out run the bus, you will miss your turn.

Immediatly after the merge point, the road will fork off to the right... take that right. You will soon come across signs for Fort Wilderness... you do not want the first entrance... you want the second entrance.

Park your car, and head over to the Outpost Depot bus stop. You will want to look for any bus that says "SETTLEMENT" on it. Orange, Purple, or Yellow, it doesnt matter. They all go to the same place - The Settlement Depot. That's where you want to go.

To get back to your car, look for any bus that says OUTPOST on it. Once again, color doesnt matter, they all go to the Outpost Depot, which is where you want to go.

Also, all of our buses are fully accessible.
