AK to Hoop Dee Doo?

We have a 9:30pm reservation for Hoop Dee Doo (first time going) on one of the days we'll be spending at AK. If we stayed at AK until it closes at 8, will there be enough time for us to make it to our reservation, or should we leave earlier? Also, which is the best way to get there? From what I can tell, we can either drive to Fort Wilderness and take a bus to Pioneer Hall or go to MK and take a boat over? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

90 minutes is more than enough time to make it to HDDR. Since it's a true reservation with spots actually held for you in advance, you can show up right at 9:30 and be seated, but I think you'll have time to spare.

What I don't know is whether you have your own car or not. That's a big consideration. If so, just drive from AK to the front of FW and catch one of the internal buses. I'd budget about 20 minutes for this trip (including the internal bus).

If you don't have a car, take a bus from AK to FW and then catch the internal bus. I'd budget about 40 minutes for this (including waiting for and riding 2 buses).

Getting back to your resort, there should be some resort buses available after the show, but they don't hang out very long after the show. This is assuming you're not driving yourself.

That's a good thing. Just drive to the front of FW from AK and then catch an internal bus. I stand by my original time budgets, though I like to be cautious when I do that. You might get there faster than that.
