AK to Epcot???

Not sure if this would be put in the transportation section or not?
I want to spend the day at AK and then eat dinner at Epcot. What would be the easiest route to get there with the disney transportation? I would give myself at least 1 hour to get there! Thanks everyone.

I would take a bus to Beach Club or Boardwalk and then walk to the back enterance of Epcot, in the world showcase.

There should be a direct bus to each of the parks from AK. I have gone from MK to AK before just using the bus. That took awhile because of the locations and having to wait for a bus. I would imagine that an hour would be sufficient. You may have to walk quickly to your restaurant - especially if it is in the WS!

I would take the monorail to the transportation center and then jump on a bus from there. I think this is the best way to go without going to a resort.

The buses have their destinations shown on them on illuminated signs.
The bus stops are also marked with signage.

As a rule-of-thumb, allow 40-60 minutes to get from the gates of one park to the gates of another park.

The above link will give you connections and approximate travel times.
And I have found that these times are a bit over-stated.
On many days, you can make the trip much faster than stated.

Thanks everyone for the comments. The dinner were hoping is Teppen Edo in WS so it would be better to take the boardwalk bus and walk to the back entrance of WS in Epcot. To be honest, I never knew there was a back entrance to Epcot. I have never seen a plane view of Epcot until now. Thanks for the great picture. I always thought the resorts near Epcot were to the right of the front entrance. I learn something new everytime I read this board . Thanks again

You're welcome.

You have a good plan for transportation.
Boardwalk and Yacht-Beach Club may share the same bus from DAK.
You can get get off the bus at Beach Club or Boardwalk (at whichever the bus stops first) and have a nice walk to the Int'l. Gateway.

I'm in the process of creating a lot of these kind of image/maps to help explain the complex relationships of the multitude of locations at WDW.
