Trying to get to DTD from AK, if we take a Saratoga Springs bus, which stop would we get off at for the walkway to DTD?

Thank you!

Can't wait for the day that they install turnstiles requiring folks to scan MB to limit the access to the walkway to SSR guest. One way to curb the over crowding of SSR buses.

To the best of my knowledge, the walkway, from Congress Park to DTD, is open. It certainly looked open when I was there. Looks very nice!!!

:thumbsup2

Edited to say: I'm not thumbupping the turnstiles, just the fact that there is overcrowding of SSR buses because of no DTD transportation. The resort, DTD and the bridge are open to everyone. However the overload on the SSR buses needs to be addressed. I understand the reason they don't run buses from DTD to the parks, but I think they need to come up with something better.

I can't wait for Disney to provide transport from the parks to DTD so I don't have to take this convoluted route to get there. I'm a resort guest (and a DVC owner) and I am entitled to use resort transportation. If they are going to make me bounce off a resort to get to DTD from a park then heck yes I am going to pick the closest one. How is this any different than taking a bus from DTD to the Boardwalk to get to the international gateway entrance of Epcot? Or from DTD to the Contemporary to get to MK? Now if we show up to the bus stop and there is bus sitting there going to POR/POFQ, we'll hop on that one and take the boat the rest of the way. Or hop on an AKL bus and transfer to a DTD bus there. But riding a bus back to my own resort not close to DTD to turn around and get on another one is a time waster and I shouldn't be expected to do it. If SS buses are clogged up by this issue than Disney needs to either give SS more buses or give guests a better way to get to DTD.

Sorry, but the walkway to DTD isn't exclusively for SSR guests. It's for anyone. So this will never happen.

Edited my above response because I just realized it looked like I was thumbsupping the turnstile comment. Sorry folks, my brain was thumbsupping a different thought. I agree with the comments that have been made by PPs. :grouphug:

Alrighty then.....I have stayed at SSR many times. I have to say that I have yet to see overcrowding on a bus due to guests heading to DTD. No, I can't say for sure where they are going, but I don't see a ton of people getting off at Congress Park (when the walkway was open) or at Springs (to take the alternate path or boat). I think many overstate the issue.
Now, as far as a turnstile for DTD access from SSR? What's next? A turnstile for the walkway to DHS from the Epcot resorts? Or one at the CR for those people to walk to MK? Sorry guys, but there is just no difference. And yes, there are folks at DTD that take the bus to BW to access Epcot or DHS, and take the bus to the CR to access MK.
