AK to DS and back again- Direct Buses?

I looked in different locations and really am just interested in knowing if there is a direct bus ride from AK to DS and back again. Also, approx how long is the bus ride? I looked on Goggle Maps an it's only about 11 miles or 5 mins but I wasn't sure if there are other stops in between. Thanks for the info!

According to Disney Springs website there is not currently a bus to/ from the parks. https://www.disneysprings.com/parking-and-transportation/. You will have to transfer at a resort

No buses run directly from any park to or from DS. You can take a bus from AK to any resort and catch the DS bus at that resort. For instance, at AK take the bus to AKL and catch the DS bus there; or at AK take the bus to Saratoga Springs, get off at the Congress Park stop, and walk to DS. But it really doesn't matter which resort you go to!

Pre-covid after 4PM busses ran one way from parks to springs but they have yet to resume....
Take bus to AKL than Springs than vise versa

You will want to leave ample time to get to DS. We’ve done the bus to AKL route twice and both times had to wait 20-30 mins for a bus to DS. May not always be the case but this was our experience.

I was thinking the same thing. I know they drive pretty fast in the Orlando area, but that's definitely not my experience with the Disney busses.

PS I'm pretty sure the OP meant 5 miles/11 minutes

Oh my, that is what I get for not letting what I wrote sink it...yes folks....it was 5 miles in 11 mins! LOL But wouldn't be be cool if they (safely) were able to be like the monorails that just shoot you over here and there! LOL
