AK to Downtown Disney

What's the best way to get from Animal Kingdom (around closing time) to Downtown Disney?? Thanks!

Taxi because you can't get there from here.

But if you must take Disney transportation, take a bus to any resort and transfer to the DTD bus there.

AK Lodge would be the best transfer point from AK to DTD.

Would Coronado Springs work well? That's where I'm staying...

It sure would! If you want to go back to your room first and whatnot, then by all means. If you don't need to go back to your room, then I still suggest AK Lodge. The reason being is that the CSR bus will stop at Blizzard Beach before going to CSR. Then once at CSR, you have the 4 bus stops.

Of course, its really all in how you catch it... technically speaking, if you had JUST miss the DTD at AK Lodge, CSR could be quicker if you had caught it just perfect. *shrug*
