AK to BB- Direct bus or will we have to transfer?

We are planning on heading to AK in the morning, then going from AK to BB in the afternoon. Is there a direct bus, or do we need to get on a bus to AKL, then transfer to a BB bus?

According to the web site "our laughing place" there is a direct bus and it takes approximately 12 minutes.
