Was there any explanation as to why they were cancelled?
Yes thanks, well sort of, I should have led with that!

In the email I received it says:
"Our records indicate that you pre-reserved a Beverage Tasting(s) cruise activity on Embarkation day.

We are reaching out to let you know that this experience is no longer being offered on Embarkation Day. We truly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

So yeah "no longer being offered" I guess. Only received the 1 x Email, I guess as both activities are classed as "Beverage Tastings".

Boooooo.....that stinks!
 

We are sailing July 6. I am not sure why we received an accessible stateroom but I am definitely glad we are getting a larger room than expected. I think it will be a noticeable difference.
 
How do you book these fares?
I am sure this was just a normal booking in a category where inventory has gotten low. Let’s say category 9C is nearly all booked, Disney will often offer 9C GTY which means you will pay the usual 9C price, but will get any stateroom in that category assigned, sometimes you could also be upgraded. But there is no discount associated with it. It depends how booked out your cruise is whether it will be offered.

Update on this was just browsing the app a few days and the Champagne tasting and Prima Notte are back again, now with "Check onboard etc." so it looks like we've missed the boat there already, though we will get there as early as possible and ask upon embarkation. (For this sailing we're Concierge)

I've emailed to check what can be done, not overly hopeful but we'll see :)

What's super disappointing is that we had a booking, (which I have a record of) and then they just cancelled it and the whole thing, and then reinstated a week or two later, which we were not advised of, and we missed out.

Ah, that is a bummer. I hope you have success and get something that will bring you joy!
